The California Supreme Court ruled 4-3 today that California's voter-approved ban on gay marriage is unconstitutional.
It's about fucking time.
I'm on the fence about marriage. Is 'just like straight people' the best we can aspire to? Why would anyone want to assimilate when we can be so much more? But anyone that wants to get married should be able to. So lets all hope that constitutional ban gets voted down or this victory celebration won't last very long.
